Danita Webb

Danita Webb was selected by local black organizations and leaders to speak during the shared keynote. In addition, Danita will lead a 40 minute follow-up discussion/presentation in one of the Issue Rooms. 

 

Mrs. Danita Webb currently works as an Assistant Principal with Omaha Public Schools.   She has had various experiences as a classroom teacher and as a leader that have allowed her to collaborate with families and community members. She recently managed the first Turnaround school in the state of Nebraska and in the OPS District.

 

She is a dedicated and highly motivated Educational Leader with a proven track record for creating a community of collective responsibility within Title I schools. Danita promotes a collaborative culture among fellow teachers, administrators, and other school leaders. Lifelong learning keeps her knowledgeable of current trends in education and allows her to keep abreast with latest research about teaching effectiveness and student learning.  

 

Danita takes pride in her ability to relate effectively to people at all levels and of diverse backgrounds.  She is well connected to the community and understands that it takes a village to help all students succeed!
