Organizations or efforts  or portions of organizations dedicated to

peace, justice, lifting us up or bringing us together

are INVITED to be a part of the EXPO --

Please register  with the following documents

 

Hi Peace and Justice Organizations!

 

One of the best ways to support the Expo is to REGISTER NOW!

Registering helps us let the public know of all the great orgs who they can meet!  

And registering helps us SPREAD THE WORD!   Please don’t wait!

 

Besides the broad range of local organizations who will be at the Expo, this year the Expo will feature a Shared Keynote Address by speakers from these six local communities:  

Women, Black, Native American, Immigrant, LGBTQIA+ and Students.

 

EXPO Schedule:   1 to 5 pm (schedule details subject to change)  

12:30               Doors open to the public

12:30 – 1:00    Booths open

1:00 – 2:00      Shared Keynote Addresses

2:15 – 3:00      3 Follow Up Discussions/Presentations in Issue Rooms

3:15 – 4:00      3 more Follow Up Discussions/Presentations in Issue Rooms

2:00 – 4:45      Booths open

4:45 – 5:00      Expo Closing        

 

BOOTHS - a booth is a table to meet and greet the public

 

  • Booths are 6ft banquet tables
  • The booth area is in the same ballroom as the Keynote speeches.  (Overflow space will be closeby)
  • Booths are open to the public from 12:30-1:00 pm and from 2:00-4:45 pm.
  • Booths are closed during Keynote.
  • Set-up is between 12:00 - 12:30.  Please let us know if you need more time.
  • UNO policy prohibits Expo organizations from sales or accepting money.

REGISTRATION is $30 for a Booth and Directory Listing

$5 for just a directory listing

FREE! -  if you spread the news far and wide!

HERE’S HOW -- We will be sending out press releases, tweets, blurbs, etc related to Expo basics, speakers, organizations, videos, parking, etc.

  • Email event information to your organization lists.
  • Invite people to the EXPO’s Facebook Event Page             LIKE us on Facebook
  • Follow us on Twitter -  @PeaceExpoOmaha                          And please Retweet us
  • Share the press releases etc
  • Put an article in your newsletter --Let people know your organization is going to be there
  • Mention the EXPO in any media
  • Distribute flyers
  • Your ideas ???

Please create your Directory Listing

You can use any of the usual contact info such as:

Organization name, acronyms, subtitles, etc   • Mailing address, including zip

Phone numbers   • Email address   • Website • Facebook listing   • Etc •

Sorry- no logos

 

And besides your contact info your listing will have additional space to share info about your group or about an upcoming event.  Your entire directory listing can have a maximum of 35 words as measured by “Word Count” on your computer.  Below are some examples from another event. Please don’t go past 35 words.  (We probably aren’t as good at editing of your info as you are.)
